Dear Allen, dear Hansen family,
I am sending you my heartfelt condolences in this difficult time. Henning brightened up the day of anyone he met, so I can only imagine how dark everything must feel right now without him. I fondly remember how warmly Henning welcomed my family to Canberra, how interesting it was to talk to him about his prior posting (especially in Taipei) and how great it was to work with him every day. Let these fond memories of Henning brighten our days a little bit while my thoughts are with you in this difficult time.
